BM8 pays money back in two ways, and they run on opposite logic. The Instant Rebate pays a small percentage of everything you bet, win or lose, and it carries no turnover at all. The Daily Rescue Bonus pays 5% of what a losing day cost you, but only above a RM1,500 threshold, only up to a tier cap, and only if your cashier activity happened in the right order.
This page turns both sets of published rates and conditions into ringgit, including the figures where the rebate terms and the VIP table disagree.
The rebate is calculated on your daily valid bets, category by category. The day runs from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 GMT+8, and the terms state that a rebate is generated every hour once turnover in a category is above zero. You collect it yourself at Cashier > Rebate.
Two rules decide whether you see anything. There is a minimum payout of RM1 per category, so small-stakes sessions can generate nothing. There is no maximum, so a heavy betting day is not capped the way a bonus is.
The part that makes the rebate different from everything else in the cashier: it is withdrawable immediately, with no turnover attached. Every deposit promotion at BM8 carries a multiple of deposit plus bonus; this one carries none.
Not every bet feeds it. The rebate terms exclude:
These are the rates published in the rebate promotion terms.
| Category | Bronze | Silver | Gold | Platinum | Diamond | Elite VIP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Slots | 0.50% | 0.60% | 0.70% | 0.80% | 0.90% | 1.3% |
| Live Casino | 0.30% | 0.40% | 0.50% | 0.60% | 0.70% | 0.80% |
| Sports | 0.20% | 0.35% | 0.45% | 0.55% | 0.70% | 0.1% as printed |
| Esports | 0.40% | 0.40% | 0.50% | 0.60% | 0.70% | 0.10% as printed |
The VIP page lists the same four categories with different numbers, which is the first thing to check before you plan around a rate. There, slots run 0.4% at Bronze rising to 1.3% at Elite VIP, sports start at 0.3% instead of 0.2%, and esports start at 0.3% instead of 0.4%. The Elite VIP figures for sports and esports are the widest gap: 0.1% in the promotion table against 1% on the VIP page. The two documents do not agree, so the sensible move is to read your own live figure in Cashier > Rebate rather than either table.
| Category | Bronze | Silver | Gold | Platinum | Diamond | Elite VIP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Slots, VIP page | 0.4% | 0.5% | 0.55% | 0.8% | 0.9% | 1.3% |
| Live Casino, VIP page | 0.3% | 0.4% | 0.45% | 0.6% | 0.7% | 0.8% |
| Sports, VIP page | 0.3% | 0.35% | 0.45% | 0.55% | 0.7% | 1% |
| Esports, VIP page | 0.3% | 0.4% | 0.5% | 0.6% | 0.7% | 1% |
One structural point sits behind both tables. The 1.3% slot rate belongs to Elite VIP, which sits at the top of the six tiers and is by invitation only, and Silver needs RM150,000 of total deposits. A new account sits at Bronze, so the slot rate for a new account is 0.4% or 0.5% depending on which document you trust.

The arithmetic is simple, and that is the point of running it before you expect much.
Bet RM10,000 across qualifying slots in one day. At the Bronze slot rate of 0.5%, that returns RM50. At the Elite VIP rate of 1.3%, the same volume returns RM130. The gap between the lowest and highest tier on identical turnover is RM80 a day on RM10,000 of bets.
Now take a small session. RM150 of slot bets at 0.5% comes to RM0.75, which is below the RM1 minimum, so nothing is paid for slots that day.
Because the minimum is applied per category, splitting a modest day across slots, live casino and sports can leave each category under RM1 on its own. Keeping volume in one category is the only way a small day clears the floor.
Headline
Daily Rescue up to RM1,888.
In the terms
5% of your nett loss, starting only once that loss reaches RM1,500. The cap at Bronze is RM168, and RM1,888 belongs to Elite VIP alone. Whatever is credited carries 10x turnover that must be cleared within 24 hours.
Nett loss is defined in the terms, and the definition matters more than the percentage. It is your gross loss for the day minus any bonus and minus any rebate you received. The measurement covers all providers and uses the same 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 GMT+8 day as the rebate.
The rescue is not automatic. For a qualifying loss you contact customer service to have the bonus issued, and once issued it is valid for 24 hours. The 10x turnover on it has to be cleared inside that window, or the winnings from the bonus funds go.
| Tier | Maximum rescue per day | Nett loss that reaches the cap |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | RM168 | RM3,360 |
| Silver | RM268 | RM5,360 |
| Gold | RM388 | RM7,760 |
| Platinum | RM588 | RM11,760 |
| Diamond | RM888 | RM17,760 |
| Elite VIP | RM1,888 | RM37,760 |
The right-hand column is the figure the headline hides. At 5%, the RM1,888 maximum needs a nett loss of RM37,760 in a single day, and it needs the invitation-only tier on top of that. The cap that applies to a Bronze account is RM168, reached at a nett loss of RM3,360, and the terms say the maximum is set by your rank on the day the bonus is issued rather than the rank you reach later.
Lose RM2,000 nett in a day at Bronze. That clears the RM1,500 threshold, so 5% gives RM100, comfortably under the RM168 cap.
That RM100 then carries the 10x turnover, so you need RM1,000 of qualifying bets within 24 hours before anything from it can be transferred or withdrawn. On RM1 spins that is a thousand spins in a day, against a credit of RM100.

The rescue can be lost by cashier sequence as easily as by the loss figure. The published conditions:
Keep in mind
One withdrawal after your latest deposit is enough to lose that day’s rescue, however large the loss was.
There is a fifth consequence that sits outside the list. Turnover generated by rescue bonus funds does not count as effective turnover for the rebate, so the RM1,000 you bet to clear a RM100 rescue earns you nothing back through Cashier > Rebate. The two schemes do not stack in your favour there.

Because nett loss subtracts the rebate, the money you collected during the day reduces the money the rescue pays afterwards. One day, two credits, and the second is calculated after the first is taken out.
Work it through. A gross loss of RM2,000 with RM50 of rebate collected gives a nett loss of RM1,950. At 5% the rescue becomes RM97.50 instead of RM100, and its 10x turnover becomes RM975. Together that is RM50 + RM97.50 = RM147.50 against RM100 on a day without rebate, and the RM50 part is free of turnover while the rescue is not.
Near the threshold the effect is sharper. A gross loss of RM1,540 with RM50 of rebate collected gives a nett loss of RM1,490, which falls under the RM1,500 floor, so no rescue is issued at all. The rebate is still yours and still clean of any wagering condition. For anyone comparing the two, what comes back in cashback terms is the rebate; the rescue is credit you have to play through, which is the same distinction that governs how the money side works across the rest of the cashier.
Rebate rates and rescue caps are both set by tier, and your live figures sit in Cashier > Rebate.
